Last year in Spain, my fríends took me to this place. The croquetas are so fresh! The owner follows his mom's recipe for croquetas and good thing he did, this place is a must when you are in Madrid and around La Latina neighborhood. 6 croquetas for 4.60 euros, not bad at all!
Try the finas hierbas, is to die for!
they have salads, sandwiches among other things but the croquetas is what is mostly known for.
